Sri Ravi has been doing AtiRudram for the past several years… It is a divine coincidence that this AtiRudram timed in May 2015 falls exactly after 100 years, that is, PEETAROHANA SATHAPTHI MAHOTHSTHAVAM of MahaPeriyava which took place in 1915.
Thenambakkam – a small room with one window intentionally built and Sri MahaPeriyava stayed for a year or more in this room…
This year, AtiRudram is being performed in Thenambakkam/Sivasthanam. Sivasthanam and MahaPeriyava are inseparable in many ways. It is the holiest of all holy places on earth because Paramacharya was on intense thapas here showering bountiful Anugraham to one and all.
