During 1968, I had been to Kanchipuram for the holy dharshan of Mahaperiyava. Periyava was staying @ Kollachathram at that time. In the evening hours Periyava was sitting in the front room of the Chathram. At that time one old lady came there and requested Periyava for Padha dharisanam. Fortunately I was also there . Periyava used to call me as Partukara Ramachandran as I used to sing in His holy presence , always .
Periyava asked to bring torch light from the mutt. I had the dharshan of holy Padha kamalam at that time along with old lady.which I can not forget even after 46 years
