A posting was done in Periyava Puranam FB page requesting for volunteers to do subtitling of Periyava Puranam videos and within few hours “Periyava Puranam” team was flooded with requests to be part of this kainkaryam. While that being said, there is also a prologue to it.

“Periyava Puranam” channels video of many blessed devotees’ experiences with Sri MahaPeriyava and Sri Sivan SAR. Who, When, how and where these videos are to be taken is destined by THEM. When and Whose to publish is also decided by THEM. In this kainkaryam, there are many unsung devotees giving hand using their skillset in technology. One such is Sri Ramprasanth Sarma.

Last year, an email came with an attachment of a subtitled file from Ramprasanth and all it took for the Periyava Puranam team is to attach the subtitle file to the existing video published #jobmadeeasy. Likewise, he kept sending a file every few months. As per his subtitling work experience, it takes 1 hour to subtitle 10 minutes video. Since beginning of 2018, there was no mail from him.

During September last week, Ramprasanth had planned to have darshan of Sri Sivan SAR at Siva Saagaram. Coincidentally on the same day, Periyava Puranam contacted him asking about subtitling work he has been doing. Taking it as a call from Sri SAR, Ramprasanth prayed to Sri SAR in HIS Sannadhi to guide him to take up the cumbersome job of subtitling in a more rigorous phase. The very next day, a posting was made in FB requesting for volunteers and today, we have 30+ volunteers offering their kainkaryam through the costliest thing that one could offer – their “TIME”.

Prayers to Sri SAR and Sri Periyava to be with all of us in this team and guide all of us in this kainkaryam.
