Periyava Puranam’s Samarpanam at HIS Holy Feet
on January 8th 2017 at 2:58pm
Wisdom’s Goldenrod is a center for philosophic studies founded by Anthony Damiani (the disciple of Paul Brunton)… Anthony had few hundred followers and many of them have had the darshan of Sri MahaPeriyava… Our journey in search of them left us dumbfounded with what they had to say… A travelogue was posted here earlier in 2014.

HIS Rare Photograph taken by Vic Mansfield
One of Paul Brunton’s disciple is Ms Elaine Mansfield. She was blessed to be in Sri Matam on the week of January 8th 1994. She and her husband Vic Mansfield stood there for 10 hours seeing all the rituals done to Sri MahaPeriyava. They had captured all those moments as photographs and played it to the people at Wisdom’s Goldenrod when they came back to USA.
In August 2014, much to her surprise, the projector which was last touched in 1994 was still working and she played a series of photographs taken few days before and after January 8th 1994.
Most importantly, being 10000 miles away from Kanchipuram, these people had seen something (or “The Thing”) in HIM which many of us weren’t blessed to experience at that time…
Elaine takes us back in time… And some of the words from her heart melts us!
If only we can reset the time clock and get back those “100 Golden Years” …
As said earlier, Periyava is there, always there!
- HE used be in Kanchipuram, now HE is in Anda Characharam…
- HE is Saashwatham!
