It was on Guruvaaram, April 7th 2016 (Auspicious Ugadi day), Sri MahaPeriyava Manimandapam NJ USA was blessed with a Panchaloka MahaPeriyava Vigraham from Orikkai Manimandapam that will be consecrated as “Moolavar” in His Shrine in New Jersey.

It is Guruvaaram again today, April 6th 2017, exactly a year later, Sri MahaPeriyava Manimandapam NJ USA is blessed with a Periyava (made of fibre) from the “Sthubhi” – A dream project of Ekadesa Vaitha Mama (aka Simpson Vaitha Mama) that turned into reality.

As many of us know, Sthubi is a commemoration of Sri MahaPeriyava’s 100 years and is located opposite to the Sri Matam on Salai Street welcoming the devotees with a 100-ft pillar (dedicated to 100 years of Sri MahaPeriyava’s life) and a Swarna Mandapam with Sri Periyava and hundreds & hundreds of Sri Periyava photos adorning the walls.

The present committee with Sri S. Gurumurthy – an ardent devotee of Sri MahaPeriyava, Editor of Thuglak and columnist generously came forward to give Sri MahaPeriyava Fibre Statue to Sri MahaPeriyava Manimandapam NJ USA.

This Periyava is now at “Siva Saagaram” – Abode of Sri Sivan SAR and will be starting HIS Yatra to New Jersey.
