Sri GS Mama (as known in Sri SAR Satsangam) is an ardent devotee of Sri MahaPeriyava & Sri SAR. GS Mama family are devotees of Sri Matam for generations. They are from Pasupathy Kovil – Kumbakonam. His thatha Sri Govinda Iyer has been a famous doctor in Kumbakonam and his appa is Sri Krishna Iyer.

Advocate Sri Krishnaswamy Iyer (Thatha of GS Mama’s wife) is known to have served Periyava when HE took Sanyasam at the age of 13.

GS Mama and Mami share their experience with Sri MahaPeriyava and Sri SAR.

Periyava Puranam

• Periyava has stayed in their Kumbakonam house twice. Mama as a youngster has lifeted Periyava’s Pallaku during Pattina Pravesam
• Mami’s appa Sri Seetharaman’s Sadhabhishegam was done in Kanchipuram according to Periyava’s orders and Sri Seetharaman Iyer was seated in an Elephant and circumbulated in Kanchipuram veedhi.
• Mama and mami had been very close to Thenali Patti and they share blessed story of how they were blessed with HIS PADHUKA through Thenali Patti.
• Periyava came in mami’s dream asking for a saree and when mami offered the saree to Periyava during their darshan, Periyava adorned the saree and gave darshan like Kamakshi.
• Mama and Mami were blessed to do Ganga Jala Abhishekam, Paal Abhishekam and Vilva Archanai to Periyava directly

Siva Saagaram

• Dual blessings came to Mama and Mami as they had darshan of Sri Sivan SAR
• They were blessed to do Bikshai for Sri SAR
• Sri SAR has said “Nee en ullaiye erukka” (You are inside me)
