Periyava Puranam – a treasure trove of Experience with MahaPeriyava… All these years, these experiences were shared in videos, narrations. For the first time, here is our blessed artist Umesh Sadasivam who has given life to an Experience with MahaPeriyava through his painting!
Umesh narrates it in his own words:
Namaskaram
Blessed to share with you all the painting “Sri Mahaperiyava walking with Kowtha Lalitha Manohar Ji”, based on the dream description received from his granddaughter. Thanks to Smt Lalitha d/o Kowtha Ji for providing the details and Parimi Atreyudu Garu for helping in coordinating the entire journey. As we all know, Kowtha Ji is the one who hosted Sri Mahaperiyava in Hyderabad in 1967 for 4 months.
Dream Description by Sri Kowtha Ji’s grand daughter
My grandfather, Sri Kowtha Lalith Manohar Garu has attained Moksha and reached the lotus feet of Paramacharya on Sravana Bahula Padyami which is also the Jayanthi of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal (16th August 2019 ).
Just about a week ago, he had a dream that he was talking with Paramacharya and after a while, Pujya Paramacharya put his hand on grandfather’s shoulder and said “let’s go”, and both of them were talking about something and were walking away together into the unknown.
This dream was so real, that my grandfather said that he felt the weight of Pujya Paramacharya’s hand on his shoulder even after he woke up.

This is proof enough that Pujya Paramacharya has personally come to take his Priya Sishya along with him into the eternal abode of the Supreme.
Jaya Jaya Sankara, Hara Hara Sankara…
Regards,
Umesh S
