Ughranam Sri Thiagu (Thatha)’s experience with Sri MahaPeriyava is one of the evergreen videos in Periyava Puranam. Periyava ignites the spark of bhakthi into the devotees in different ways. It is a great blessing that HE destined Periyava Puranam also as one such medium. There has been testimonials given by a group of devotees whose life has changed after watching Thiagu thatha’s interview. Those devotees jointly as a Satsangam have been celebrating “MahaPeriyava Mahotsavam” every year around July-August in Rama Mandiram, Nanganallur.
Thiagu Thatha is now 96 years young! Young at heart and very energetic. This laughter while narrating his experiences with MahaPeriyava gives a ray of hope.

Mama, listened to Thiagu mama experience.. Very nice… We are hearing Sri Maha Periyava through their experiences….
Yesterday I was thinking that during this stay home, the best thing that is happening is to see Sri Maha Periyava and Sri Sivan SAR Periyava daily at Siva Saagaram. Would not be possible on the mechanical world that was before to see and enjoy them daily….
Also on normal days, some people may come home or we may have to go outside.. But these days we can reserve the 7:30 pm slot for our Maha Periyava and Sivan SAR Periyava… The Harathi we see daily is a divine delight to our eyes… When the Jyothi is near them, we can see the brightness increasing…
Hearing a live interview is like they are talking to us straight… We are listening to those people who have personal experiences with Sri Sivan SAR Periyava… It’s a great delight and pleasure and a very happy moment. Wanted to send this to you last night but sending it today..

What a blessed person. I hope I can meet Thyagu Tatha in my next visit and do a namaskaram to him. Great interview. One always looks forward to getting and hearing these experience. Great service Shivaraman Ji!
Watching these videos is inspiring. I keep getting to know about all the stalwarts who served Sri Periyavaal selflessly. Their devotion, simplicity and sense of humour are charming.
