Pūjyaśrī Chandraśekharendra Sarasvatī Svāmigal Maṇimanḍapa Sandeśam

We are very thankful to Dr.Venkat Swaminathan mama for his immense support in this divine initiative. The very first thought about this special event for the announcement of the Mani Mandapam initiative sprouted from mama and he has taken enormous effort in guiding us in every minute details involved in organizing this event.

A briefing about Dr Venkat Swaminathan : He is a scientist by profession. He is a senior disciple of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati. He teaches Advaita Vedanta and Bhagavad Gita regularly at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam and in NJ area. His deep knowledge in carnatic music sahitya, composers and their compositions is remarkable. He has been conducting a concert series called “Sangita Vichara” series where he encourages young artists from NJ area to sing and also explains the deeper philosophical meaning behind the compositions. He has also been supporting Pujyaswamiji’s Oduvar program by conducting the annual fundraiser called “Thirumurai Awareness program”, which is a theme-based concert program where students of all leading carnatic music teachers of NJ participate.

Mama is an ardent devotee of Sri Maha Periyava. Many times, his speeches on Maha Periyava has moved people into tears. There cannot be a better person than Dr. Swaminathan, to explain the philosophy of the great Advaitin Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar’s compositions on the occasion of announcing Sri Maha Periyava Mani Mandapam initiative.

We earnestly pray to HH Maha Periyava, HH Pudhu Periyava and HH Bala Periyava to make this event a successful one. Please come and join us on Saturday, Oct 18th, 2014 at the Bridgewater Temple Auditorium, NJ.

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara
