What a simplicity and humility shown by Mami! Mami’s experiences with Sri PeriyavA clearly shows the power of Naama Japam. This reminds of Sri MahaperiyavA’s Upanyaasam on Bagawan Naama Japam in which Sri PeriyavA talks in lengths and breadths about the importance of Naama Mahimai. Sarweshwaran starts the Upanyaasam with the following Pathigam, “நற்றவா உனை நான் மறக்கினும் சொல்லு நா நமச்சிவாயவே”. And then Sri PeriyavA went on to say “நாக்கு இருக்கு. நாமம் இருக்கு. அப்பறம் பயம் ஏது?”. So Mami’s experience itself has the answer of why Saakshaath Parameshwara avataaram blessed her consistently (the power of Shiva and Rama Naama).
I wish she could talk for more time. It was a treat listening to her. Thank you for bringing in margazhi mahotsavam.. periyava idam bhakthi pannave , one should be gifted.

Hari OM. Thanks a lot to the team for bringing out these experiences from the music circle. Generally we go to sabhas for concerts and discourses during December music season. Again I make it a point to attend discourses on Maha Periyavaa (Ex. Sri Ganesa Sarma’s discourses on Deivathin Kural in Krishna Gana Sabha). Now these videos serve both the purposes of listening to music as well as Maha Periyava experiences..
Really a wonderful service to all devotees of Periyava.
